4 Spiritual Baths to Try in the Midst of Burnout in the New Year

Why does it always take me getting sick to realize I’m burned out?

The end of the year rush comes on stronger each year. As the last quarter of the year elapses, we may realize that we have less time to smash the goals that we set for the year. We may begin to slip on our self-care and those activities that profoundly recharge us. This makes us susceptible to burnout and fatigue and a checked-out, “going through the motions” type of mood.

Ways Burn-Out Affects Self-Concept and Relationships

  • Hyperfocus on self and perceived lacks + limitations

  • Isolating one’s self from connections

  • Adapting a business mindset to intimate relationships

  • A general heaviness and pessimistic outlook on life

  • A type of tired you can’t seem to shake

What is a Spiritual Bath?

A spiritual bath is a ritual used to rebalance any denser energies that may be in lingering around in our energetic bodies. A collection of ingredients is used to charge the bathwater to wash away limiting beliefs, resistance, and/or any other disillusions that have taken root in our hearts and minds. All of the spiritual baths below use a Sea Salt + Epsom Salt + Pink Himalayan Salt Mixture, as well as other herbs, crystals, and essential oils.

The process of a spiritual bath is slightly different from a bath that does not focus on a spiritual intention. To maximize the benefits of a spiritual bath, complete the following:

Clean + Declutter Your Bath Space

Take A Quick Shower To Cleanse Before Bath

Fill Tub With Bath Water

Add 2 tablespoons of Bath Tea To Water

Smudge Bath Space

Relax for 20 Minutes

Complete An Intention-Setting Ritual While Relaxing ( Meditation, Prayer, Journaling, Soundbath, Breathwork, Emotional Freedom Tapping, etc.)
